Changing to Spotify Premium through Spark NZ

Solved!

Changing to Spotify Premium through Spark NZ

I've just purchased the music pre-paid $19 plan with Spark which includes free Spotify Premium. I already had Premium and went through the Spotify registration with Spark. It said Spark had access to my Spotify user account, and could recognise I had an existing payment set up. But when I clicked on "cancel" existing Spotify payment I didn't get confirmation this was done. I went into my Spotify account and it still shows I am due to pay on 19/10 from my credit card as pers usual. How can I tell if Spark has taken over payment other than just waiting to see if my credit card is charged on the 19th?

Hey @CraigStephen,

Try logging into your account settings on your browser with your email. Your username will be displayed after you login.

After that, check the status of your subscription. It should read 'Your subscription is associated with our partner Spark'.

If your subscription appears differently, cancel your subscription, and delete your payment info. Once done, go back to Spark to link your account with your Spotify.

Hope it helps. 🙂
