Delete Account

I am having a lot of difficulty. I accidentally signed up for spotify on my facebook account and then separately with an email address. Now, I want to subscribe to the student premium rate, but I can't connect my real account to my facebook. Can I delete my facebook spotify account and re-log in with my real account? I have tried going to preferences>social network>connect to facebook, but the popup in the player is blank and the new window it opens is a blank page that says "OK".
