Do family members need their own spotify account before adding to family plan

Does each family member need their own spotify account before I can add them to a family plan. They are young children without email accounts. I was trying to do this by typing in the link in another device (kindle8)  I was giving but was told that I was already a member of this famly plan. I was using my spotify log in.

Yes, each member has to create a new account or use an existing one. Just copy the invitation link, open it at a different computer or browser, and create a new account for the young kids. You can always use a temporary mail to create the account, it doesn't matter.
