Do promotions apply to Gift Cards?

I am just wondering if the current 3 months of Spotify Premium for $9.99 applies when using gift cards to purchase Premium.

Offhand, I am thinking not, since most promotions require an ongoing form of payment such as a CC to be used.
You could check the terms and conditions on your specific offer though - as any restrictions like this are listed out in the fine print.
