Don't want to link to my facebook acccount

I signed in to spotify with my normal non facebook email and  anonymous name and that was fine, but they asked me to sign in with Facebook which I did but didn't know this would mean my facebook id was on the page. I want to share a playlist and still have my anonymous assumed name, how do I get rid of facebook.

Hi, and welcome to the community!

Make sure you sign in with a username and password, not your email address.

If your username has been connected to facebook, check Edit>Preferences and you should be able to disconnect from there.

If you can't disconnect i.e. there is no option to disconnect and you're logging in with non facebook details, I suggest you submit an online contact form; and someone at Spotify can disconnect the 2 manually.
If you get an automated reply; make sure to reply to it directly (even if it's from a no reply); and it will be sent to the Spotify staff.

As mentioned by Anthony, you need to log in with your unique Spotify username and password not your email address. On Spotify all email address logins authenticate via Facebook.
