Error Code 3

Over night all of my devices with Spotify (laptop, phone, ipad) were logged out of my facebook spotify account and now it keeps telling me on all devices that I'm using the wrong credentials. I've tried using username only but since my account is linked to my facebook it won't work and every time I try to use the log in through FB button it takes me to an error screen that says "Spotify desk client communication failed". The reset password link won't even send an email it just spins around once or twice and then disappears. It won't even let me log on to the website.

I am also having the Error Code 3 issue - as is my SO on his account.  Any ideas?
