Hello,

 

As of yesterday I can't log in to my Spotify account using my Spotify account details.

The interface appears but I get a 410 error code forcing me in offline mode, also saying that my username or password is wrong. 

 

I've tried to reset the password, but I'm not getting the mail, maybe I've been hacked?

I have contacted them, but no response yet. I have spotify free.

"The username or password is incorrect, etc etc" is showing up on my UI.
Still I´m logged in, but can´t access my library due it thinks that I am in "Offline mode" wich I ain´t..


I had both Facebook login AND ordinary.. but I disabled my facebook account yesterday (take a break from Facebook).
But I do have a ordinary proper login, wich I´ve been using before.  (KenBen78)

I have spotify premium and I downloaded an updated version three days ago - since then everything has stopped working, I am getting an error 410 message and I can´t do anything. Am seriously disappointed with this - had no problems at all before I downloaded this version.

Really miss my music but am considering cancelling my account as I can´d get anything to happen.

Any ideas??

I had the same problem, as you can see.  Try to reset your password , it helpt me.

All you have to do is  get a new password with the option "Forgot my password" 

Thank you - I tried this and it got me into the account and has re established the connection. I have now got to sort out the problem that anything I try to do just brings up a message to say that the programme is not responding. Many thanks for your help.

Been having the same problem with error code 410. Also I'm unable to reset my password, because it tells me my email address is wrong and when I sent the "change the password" message using my account username, the message was sent but it didn't came to me.. Reseting the software also didn't help, though now it just tells that login failed when I try to login. This is really frustrating and I hope to find a way to get things work properly again. My username is mcshovin.

My CC expired before I could update it in Spotify...

 

Now I can't:

1: Login with my username and password. It says my account is disabled and I can't do anything

2: When I go to reset my account and punch in my email or username it says its not associated with an active account.

 

How the bloody hell am I supposed to go into my Spotify permium account and update my payment info.

 

Can you please:

1. Associate my account back to my username ovidinovski

2. Can you please make it active so I can update my payment details.

I've had to create this secondary account just so I can log into the community and post this.

Can you post your case number from when you got in touch with the support form here (it is in the automated reply you get when you submit the form) and I can escalate this to the community team for you. 

 

If you didn't get the email, then it is most likely the email address on your account is wrong, if that is the case, you will need to get in touch using this contact form 😉

Can someone help, even when I do the password link and amend this, it tells me 'sweet your logged in' but when I tryto go into playlists I get error code 410 and username and password do not match. Currentl paying for aproduct and not getting a service.

 

Can someone PLEASE! help, cannot get an answer anywhere!!

I had the same issue myself today. I was trying to login with the email address i signed up with. When you reset your password the email they sent contains a username that's a number. Login with that number and your new password and it worked for me.

i think i have 2 accounts: one premium, id egraziani, i don't remember the email address i have inserted when i registered; the other one standard, id eugenio.graziani, email egraziani@kstudioassociato.it. when i try logging in with the premium one, the interface says error 410 and tells me i am off line. how can i use the first one. i am charged my credid card for the premium account but i cannot use it anymore. thanks

Hello Spotify, I've had this 410 problem for about two weeks now, I tried to fix it but it recognizes my facebook account, I thought it was because I recently changed my password on my facebook account so I moved on.

The thing is that when I logged on my Facebook account via Spotify I could clearly see that "Someone" had listen to music via my old account (Axelsson92) and that type of music that I'm not listining to, it seems like I've been hacked.. Please help

Just got the Error 410 today on my wife's Premium account.

 

What I think the culprit is:

 

We're moving to Los Angeles, so yesterday I changed the billing address on the credit card Spotify uses. I hadn't gotten a chance to change that info on Spotify, though, as I won't be billed for a couple more weeks. It would seem strange that Spotify is constantly checking the source of payment to see if it's verified correctly even after I've paid for the month. That's just my speculation, though. Who knows? Maybe the account got hacked?

 

The important info: I can't use the service that I've paid for.

 

The normal troubleshooting:

 

- PC Windows 7 client gives me Error 410

- Try to log into spotify website, gives me "Account Disabled"

- Try to change password, gives me "Account Disabled"

 

I put in a ticket with support 3 hours ago. It doesn't bode well that people are saying it takes weeks to get responses from support on this error... I'll post updates as they come.

 

(the account I'm posting with is not the account I'm having trouble with)

My inquiry about error 410 was met with this email:

"Your Spotify account has been disabled because we have detected suspicious streaming activity on the account.

Any paid subscription has been cancelled.

If you would like further information, please get back to us.

I got back to them yesterday and haven't heard anything since.

 

Bugs me that they didn't give me any indication as to why my account was deemed suspicious. To uncerimoniously disconnect my account and then not provide a way for me to speak to a human being about why it happened in a timely fashion is not good customer service.

Yes, I got ths same mesage and acount was just cancelled.

I can not possibly understand this!
Am I not allowed to listen to what I want on a paid account?

I mailed support, but get no response 😞
I honestly don't know what' going on and what to do to activate my account again...?

It's heartening to see that we're not alone with this issue, but the lack of response from Spotify Support is pretty disheartening. Stil waiting on a response. I'll be updating daily...

Wrote to the @SpotifyCares twitter account, who helped me escalate my case. Turns out Spotify doesn't like me streaming my own music on repeat throughout the day (as in music that I wrote, recorded, then put up on Spotify through CDBaby). Makes sense! Case closed. 🙂

I also have the same problem.  In profile the birthday is set to Jan 01 2011 and I can't change this!  Thanks.  My spotify name is digitaslbi
