Facebook Deactivation, standard Spotify Account / Slow Buffering

Hi All,

I was wondering how I could go about deactivating my facebook have being able to have spotify and not have it be reactivated. I tried to make a regular account but it would not allow me to due to my e-mail already being used. Should I just make a new e-mail or is there a way of transferring the information over? I have purchased premium monthly and just want to be able to listen to Spotify as well as have my facebook deactivated.

I have also been wondering if it is just my service provider but on the interstate and and in low service areas my spotify will stop the song every ten seconds and buffer or not load the song at all. Its fustrating at my ex's Spotify was instant compared to mine, though she did have a different service provider.

Any help with these issues would be great!

Thanks

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

If you get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form they will be able to assist you in getting all of your playlists and subscription moved over to a non-Facebook account for you.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

As for your buffering, are you using premium? Offline playlists are good for when signal is patchy 😉
