Facebook drives me crazy

I signed up for Spotify a long time ago, when it was still in beta, well before the Facebook connection was implemented. I have a username and password, and do not log in with my Facebook account (and never have). My Facebook account has been deactivated for years, but lately when i log in, it re-activates my Facebook account!

When i check the settings in Spotify i can only "Connect to Facebook" so it isn't connected. This is driving me crazy, how do i remove this connection completely?! I haven't even logged in with my Facebook account, so i can't understand how Spotify has the connection! (My Spotify account doesn't use the same email as my Facebook account.)

I'm a premium user, and will cancel my subscription if this can't be fixed...

That is definitely very strange!

I would suggest you get in touch with the customer services team using the online contact form and they will be able to look into your account on their end for you.
