Facebook mailaddress does not exist

Hello there! When I signed up, the wrong email address was linked with my account. It is not my current Facebook email address, but one I used a long time ago (and is no longer working). I cannot change my email address on my online profile, because it says it must be changed via my Facebook profile. But the email address linked with the Spotify account does not correspond with the email address in my Facebook profile. When I fill in the contact form, it says that the answer will be send to my non existing mail address... How do I fix this?

If you created your Spotify account with Facebook, you can create a new account with a different email address from the one you use for Facebook. That will give you a Spotify username, so you won't have to rely on a Facebook account. Once you have this new account, fill out the contact form, and someone from Spotify will be happy to help you migrate your Premium privileges (if you have them), library, playlists, friends, etc. to this new account.

If you like you can link this new account to your Facebook after the switch.
