Family members cannot log in

Family members cannot log in


I have upgraded to Spotify family and invited my family members. But when they click on the link it says that they are already members of "this (or some other) family plan". In my account it still says that the invitation is pending, and we cannot play music simultanously. The plan is active and I pay the family fee every month. What should I do?

Hey There!


1. have you tried to log out off this other accounts and tried again? Sometimes, it seems to update account status when re-logged.

2. Submit a Contact form (usually they answer very fast)

It sounds like they're trying to accept the invite while being logged into your account. To be able to accept the invite, they need to sign up to Spotify first:


Once signed up, they should be able to accept the invite (while being logged into their own account!)
