My credit was compromised a couple of months ago and Spotify was one of the many charges. I cancelled my card and and a new Spotify charge as well as a Netflix charge appeared on the new card. I cancelled it a second time only to have it happen for a third time. My CC company told me that sometimes Visa will give companies like Spotify that do recurring charges the new CC number when the old is declined. I do not use Spotify and find it very aggravating that this keeps happening to me each month. I've cancelled my card for a third time. Please, tell me how I can have this stop happening.
