Friend accidentally link her spotify account with my facebook accoun. Playlist all gone.

Friend accidentally link her spotify account with my facebook accoun. Playlist all gone.

My daughter got her own spotify account and everything has been fine up until the point where she logged me out of Spotify on my Android phone and logged in under her own account.

I logged her out and logged back in with my account (using the Facebook login) and that didn't fix the problem.  It appears as though, even though she used her own Spotify login on my phone, Spofitfy has now associated her account with my Facebook account.

It gets worse.  I also have Spotify on my Mac which was fine until this afternoon, when I noticed her playlists under my account and all of my playlists are gone.  All of her login information appears in preferences after I log in. I never had set up a Spotify account, I just set it up using my facebook login and logging out and logging back in to Spotify doesn't fix things. I disconnected Facebook from the Mac app, and it appears as though it recognizes the login info, but it drops me on another sign in page asking me for my Spotify-specific crednetials, which I do not have.

I spent a lot of time setting up my playlists and I would hate to lose them.  Any help would be most appreciated.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

It sounds like your accounts have become merged and when you disconnected them again, your original login details to your account will have been lost, hence why you get a blank account. If you could get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form they will be able to lend a hand to get your old account restored for you.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
