Gift Card Issues

Hi,

My nephew got a gift card from me and accidentally chose unlimited instead of premium when he redeemed it. Is there any way of changeing from unlimited to premium afterwards or is it too late?

Hi Elene,

We may be able to convert it for him - could you please ask your nephew to contact the support team via this link?  We will need to know his username, date of birth and the code.   

Alternatively, he can convert it to Premium by adding a payment card to his account at www.spotify.com/account/subscription.  If he then cancels the subscription after converting, the system would not automatically renew after the code expires.
