[HELP] How to subscribe to Spotify Premium without a credit card

I would like to subscribe and pay with my PayPal account. But I do not have a credit card, my PayPal account is not verified. How to pay without linking a credit card to my PayPal account?

It differs per country which payment methods PayPal does offer. I can choose between creditcard, bank account and iDeal (I'm Dutch).

Which country do you live?

Your paypal account unfortunately needs to be linked to a Credit/Debit card for it to be linked with Spotify 😕 you can however buy a Spotify gift card in stores without having a credit card, here are some of the stores you can buy them at 🙂

@Pixore Do you have a bank account you can transfer the funds into and then pay with Spotify that way? There are also a couple of ways to get the funds out of your Paypal account here. Spotify will not link your paypal with your Spotify account without a valid payment method attached to it, but if you want, you can contact Spotify directly here and see if they can do anything for you. If you receive an automated reply, just reply directly to that email (even if it is a no-reply).

Technically by the rules yes, Spotify requires PayPal accounts on the service to be verified and tied to an active credit or debit card.

That being said, it has been reported in the past that some people have managed to set up subscriptions without a payment card on their paypal, so it might be worth a shot if PayPal is an option in France on the subscription page.

You might also want to try buying an eCard instead of setting up a recurring subscription:

Well alternative you can buy spotify gift cards at local stores like i do now for the next few months :D. But i don't know if spotify france offers spotify gift cards, it would be very weird if not 😉
