HELP, I´VE FORGOTTEN MY PASSWORD

HELLO, Could anybody help me? I´ve forgotten my password and I don´t know how to get it again, Anybody knows if it´s possible?? and how to do it?

That's a sort of catch 22 - you need your password to change it. Peter's post on this same page sets out how to get a password reset.

Can't find PW the link just gets me to my profile, there is nothing there that tells me how to find or set PW.

1. Go to https://www.spotify.com/password-reset/
2. If you get redirected to your online profile (where you need to current password to make the change), you are still logged into the website. Click on your name at the top and choose Log Out.
3. Return to https://www.spotify.com/password-reset/ and you should be able to request a reset.

i have forgoten my password and unlike any normal large company there is no way to retrieve it and reset it. no email recieved when i have tried to get it sent to me. Absolutly rubbish service to make it so hard to retrieve a simple password definetly teh worst i have come across

@patchrobertson1 - If you can't get a password reset following the steps I posted immediately above your post (be sure to check your junk/spam folders), then get in touch with support here and they will be able to provide you with a reset manually.

ok...  i have a problem. i want to change my email address because the one used on Spotify is not valid anymore (for at least a year maye be two) If i want to change it i have to give my password. But i can't remember my password. If i want to make a new one they send it to my old email address.. What can i do now?

I also lost my password. When I go to the link you showed it allows me to change my password but asks that I enter the old password to make the change. I don't have my old password. How can I have it emailed to me or have a password email sent for reset.

Why is it so difficult restting the spotify password?. When i fill out the "new password" form I am being prompted for my old (and de facto !) forgotten password.  I am being forced to log log in via Facebook. No support adress to receive email is given.

This is sub standard.

I forgot my password. Spotify is requesting my old password to reset a new one. This makes no sense to me. How do I either retrieve my original passowrd (the one thta I have forgotten) or create a new one since I forgot my old one?
