Help - Random people keep disappearing

Hi, recently im having an issue losing random people from my friends list, the bit where you see what their currently listening to.

All my friends are not from Facebook, they have been manually added.

Each time i load Spotify; either all of them appear or the odd one or two goes missing, and when i see if im following and they are following me, we are both following each other.

What could be the issue, is it that private mode?  Strange thing is, if i go to their name via who is following me, they are there and if i click on one i can see what they have been listening to.

Could this be a bug?
