I had spotify free for several years without any problem. But recently I bought a Samsung s2 so I changed to premium so that I could use spotify on my phone as well. But I don't remember my password to my spotify and when I requested a new one I didn't get any email (though my email should be working because I got the confirmation that I purchased premium). And another weird thing is that I managed to log in on my phone but that's just to the 48 hour free version so it doesn't work any more. It seams like a ghost in my phone made a new account or something. So I figured that I might have too register my phone number on my account (I don't need a password for that) to make it work but can't do that because it says that my email is registered to another account.

If you managed to log in without your password, you logged in with a Facebook account that does not have premium on it. Log out and choose "Log in with Spotify details".

 

Of course, you probably can't do that without your password. Check your spam folder or try requesting the password again.

And if you purchased Premium then you must have logged in to do so - use that same username and password on your phone.

 

Hopefully that sorts it
