Horribly slow support from Spotify

Our Paypal account was compromised and as a result our payment to Spotify was rejected.

Rather than emailing us and letting us know (which is sort of a standard billing policy all over the country), Spotify locked our account.

Even better - apparently it takes Spotify support about a week to reply to your first inquiry. And then it is a response that doesn't even address the problem (I gave you my username in the support message, why are you replying telling me some completely different account isn't locked and to reset my password?)

And emailing back to clarify is pointless since its been nearly a week since I did that with no response. Perhaps there's a one interaction limit imposed to improve efficiency?

And this isn't the username/account that is locked. Apparently someone thought it'd be a swell idea to tie your support ability to your user account - which means I can't request support because the account is locked.

Your account gets deactivated automatically if Spotify receive a charge back from your payment provider, essentially in case you haven't paid for the Premium service you have already used. If it had of been a standard payment failure, you would have received an email letting you know the payment had failed and simply would have been retried in the following few days (whilst your account remains on Premium).

Unfortunately, Spotify don't deal with any billing issues here on the community due to the nature of the details required. Stick at it, support will be able to lend a hand once it gets to the right hands.
