I just signed up for Spotify Premium in Denmark. I already had an account, free listening. Now I entered creditcard info and tried to activate, but nothing is happening. I still get the adds and cannot get it activated on my mobile phone (iPhone 4). Is there something specific I need to do to activate my premium order/account? I dind't get a recpiept for the order by email either. Do you usually get that? Does this mean that my payment and order hasn't gone through?

Hi Nikolina, welcome to the Community!
I've taken a look at your Spotify account and you've upgraded to our Unlimited subscription rather than Premium.
Whilst you can't use Unlimited on mobile devices, you shouldn't be seeing any adverts on this subscription whilst on desktop.
Can you try logging out and back in to check this?
If you want to change to Premium, you can do so on your subscriptions page here.
Hi, having a similar problem. Gone throught with my credit card details and can view the receipt for the free premium trial but i have no idea how to activate it. There seem to be no instruction anywhere instructing what to do next. I did however locate another page that asks for a code but i have not been given a code that i am aware of. Please help
There's nothing to activate. If your account isn't working as a premium account already, try logging out and back in.
@Josemlandivar - Is your account showing as premium on your online overview?
If it is showing as premium then you should be good to go! Sometimes a quick log out and back in again is needed. If you are still having issues, try a clean reinstallation of the application.
If your account is still showing as free then you have not logged into the account you have upgraded. Double check your details, its amazingly easy to accidentally have two accounts, one with a Spotify username and another using your Facebook details. If you can't find your account, don't subscribe again as you might be billed twice, instead get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to lend a hand.
If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

I have a premium account that has worked well, and I love Spotify!
But a few days ago, Spotify was not available when I started up my PC, Windows 8. The spotify program file is still on the PC, but I cannot start it up. How do I bring Spotify back to life here? Thank you so much in advance!

Thank you for your fast response! I did uninstall Spotify and reinstalled. To no avail. Spotify is on my system but does not start up.

I just bought spotify premium and both my phone and pc dont shows signs that it went through but i am sure i payed for it? What am i doing wrong or how long do i have to wait for something to happen?
