I thought spotify was private, I have 2 subscribers to on of my playlists and want them gone. I found out how to subcribe to them (to which I'm not interested in they're music) but not how to block or delete them.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Hi!
I actually made sure in the beginning that NONE of my playlists would be published.
Somehow, someone ( I don't even know!) just subscribed to my playlist. What the heck?
How could this happen? And why can't I see/remove/block this subscriber?
Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂
You can view the privacy of all of your playlists on your Spotify profile. Just click on your name in the top right of the desktop client, and select profile. All of your playlists along which their privacy settings will be displayed there.
There is also no way to block or remove followers from your playlists or profile in the current system.

It is quite annoying, I had to block an ex girlfriend on Facebook but she still somehow has managed to subscribe to my playlist, I find it very odd that someone who is completely blocked from viewing any of my details on facebook is available to rifle through my playlists and subscribe in a social way when the two systems appear so intwined.
The only solution I have found so far is to rename my playlist to "you're a c**t" and hopefully this will deter them and make them un subscribe
That is a genuine LOL Harlon!
Exactly -my 'follower' who I want to remove is blocked on FB, she is an Ex of my new boyfriend -and I've never met her but dont want her nosying on the tunes we're sharing! Ive made all my playlists Secret at least.
is this in premium only?
My solution: quit spotify and use Deezer. There are tools to import your playlists, the price is the same, and similar catalog... You can subscribe with kust an email address, no need for facebook
just wanna get my ex-girlfriend's stupid face off the top of my starred playlist. why can't i do that?
