How do I switch off Community Mailer ? . . My email account is being bombarded !

Help ! ! ! ?? ?

I am receiving dozens of emails from Spotify Community Mailer titled:-

"You have 1 update for your Spotify Community Subscriptions"

I am not aware that I have subscribed to anything in Spotify and I certainly cannot work out how to unsubscribe . . .

I have been into what I think is my account settings (though I'm having difficulty working out if there is any difference between my music settings and my community forum settings and to be honest I'm not sure which I've been editing ?)

Anyway . . I've been into my account and switched off everything that looks like it might be remotely connected to emails ? (I've also switched off everything I didn't understand as well !) . . but it makes no difference at all, I'm getting bombarded with loads of emails every time I switch on my computer mostly connected to a previous post ? ?

Hi,

Please go to 'My setttings' on the community. Then 'Subscriptions and bookmarks'

Untick the box saying 'Automatically subscribe me to topics I participate in'

Then go to the 'Email Subscriptions' Sub tab, and tick all the boxes and press Delete Selected Subscriptions.

Should get rid of all your subscriptions and stop you from subscribing by default to others 🙂
