How to download with Premium

I am sure there is an obvious anwer to this but can't find it! I've just subscribed to Premium as a perk from my Virgin Media account. Streaming without ads working fine but I can't see how to access downloads - when I go to the Get button I am sked to pay for the tracks. Tried synching to Windows Media Player which appears to work but when I go to that the tracks aren't there

Help what am I doing wrong!

Hey suunyday53, welcome to the Community.

Do you mean downloading the tracks, or just syncing them to an offline playlists.

Downloads aren't included in your subscription I'm afraid so will require additional purchases. Syncing offline though should just be as straightforward as pressing the 'available offline' toggle in a playlist.

Right - I have now worked out that this is what Premium offers - not downloads as such but synching to another device. So - when it is synched to Windows Media Player or iTunes can I access it outside Spotify? It isn't in my Media Player library....... How do I get it onto another device like MP3 player or memory stick?

I know these are probably obvious questions but am new to it all!

Syncing will let you listen to the songs offline, but only in Spotify or in the Spotify app on a mobile device.

You won't be able to burn the songs to a CD or play them in WMP, etc. without paying for the Downloads. Otherwise, you'd be able to sync thousands of songs, save them to a disk and keep them forever, even if you cancelled your subscription.
