I logged into Spotify this morning and it reset my account deleting all my playlists :/

I was having trouble logging into Spotify this morning and as soon as I logged in successfully I noticed that I didn't have any playlists and it looked as if I had just made a new account (I didn't). I even checked my email and sure enough there was a welcome email. Why on earth did Spotify do this? It's only a free account but I'm pretty bummed that I lost all my playlsits. 

If there's anything you can do to help me out (even though I don't have premium) please let me know. Thanks for any and all feedback/help.
