Hey there,
Thanks for reaching out.
Please share the exact error message you're seeing 🙂
Hello Maxim,
Please see attached.
Thanks.
Hello Maxim,
Please see below,
We were unable to confirm that you live with the plan manager for this plan. You may rejoin someone else's plan within 12 months.
You may also find another plan that suits you.
Thanks.
Hey @srhtkblt,
Thanks for the info you've sent!
It looks like the email verification failed or you've missed the 7-day window to verify the address, which is why you're seeing this error message when attempting to join your wife's plan. You should still be able to join the previous Family or Duo plan you were part of, but since you mentioned you moved out, that most likely won't be an option either.
You can still start a new subscription, but you won’t be able to join any other Family or Duo plan for 12 months from the date the verification failed. You can find more information about the address verification process here.
Hope this clears things up.
Hello Dessi,
Thank you for clarifying but i checked again and i didn't get any email to verify my address. just kicked out of my previous family plan. So you are telling me that i can only purchase premium for myself now and can't join any other family plans?
Hey @srhtkblt,
Thanks for the reply!
You should've received an email asking you to reverify the address so if you can't find it, maybe it landed in the spam/junk folders. Note that plan managers also get an email to ask members to reverify the address on their account. Another thing you can check is if the Spotify domain no-reply@spotify.com is under Blocked senders in your mail app. If it is, make sure to remove it and instead add it in the safe senders and domains list.
As for joining other plans, you should still be able to re-join the original Family plan you were part of if you live at the same address with the plan owner, but since you mentioned you no longer do, then this might not be possible.
Take care.
Hello Dessi,
Thank you for the reply.
If i create a new account can i join my wife's family plan and transfer my previous playlists from this account to new one.
Do you think Spotify can help with that?
Thanks.
