I paid fot the student premium and i am still at the free version

Hi I made an account with my college e-mail. I paid with my debit card for the premium student discount. Then a formed appeared to verify that I am a student. I signed the form and the system couldn't verified. I am indeed a first semester student on berklee college of music. They have taken my money from my debit card and I am on the free version. Why did that happened? I send an e-mail to spotify and they say i should right here. The whole situation is so unprofetional from a company.

Hi there,

 

You can check your bank statement first and see if the charge is showing pending. If yes, most likely, the funds will be returned back to you (around 2 days depending on your bank).

 

Here's what I found on the student discount page that might be helpful:

 

The verification of my student status failed, but I think I’m eligible.

 

The good folks at Sheer ID process our student discounts. If you’re having trouble getting signed up, you can submit for manual verificationNote: this can take up to 12 hours.

 

You can also reach them in their website, or email them at customerservice@sheerid.com.

Hey @nchatzitsakos,

 

Did you get an email receipt for your subscription purchase?
 

In it, it shows the Spotify username you paid for:

 

Username/ID:        xxxxxxx

Logout of the app, and be sure to use it, instead of your email address, to login to your account. It's the one with the Premium features.

 

If you didn't get any email receipt, sometimes the amount gets 'on hold' even if the charge doesn't go through. Normally the amount gets back to your bank account a day or two later.
