Hi,
Premium account, Squeezebox Radio & Touch
I think I know the answer to this is No & more of a Logitech question but thought I would ask here if anone has any ideas.
I have set up a playlist on my Win XP PC that has spotify music & some local MP3's and hoped to stream to the squeezebox.
The SB does Not see the local files. I sort of understand that the SB is using its own Spotify App and whilst going through my Network is probably simply looking straight to Spotify server for its files & playlists associated with the account and not back at the PC. I rather hoped in some magical way that because that PC is running the Logitech Media Server & take's Radio etc from that PC that in some way it would also find the local MP3's.
Is this simply not easily feasible if not impossible.
I can obviously get the SB to use the My Music/Local files ignoring Spotify but would be nice to mix the two.
I think I have a lot to learn about the Squeezebox & Spotify.
Thanks I/A.

Same problem here! The songs in my playlist on Spotify do not show up in the Squeezebox. I can see the playlist titles, but then it says empty when I try to see the songs. If I launch Spotify on my mobile device, the songs show up just fine. Any ideas?
As far as I know - you can't stream local files anywhere, period, using any device. You must physically copy them to the device to be able to listen to them.
