Issue connecting Spotify Premium to Vodafone.ie account!

Hi,

 

I was previously subscribed to Spotify Premium but cancelled it as I wanted to attach my account to a Vodafone Ireland deal which includes Spotify Premium.

 

Approx. 2 weeks ago I made the switch on my Vodafone account and allowed my current Spotify premium a/c membership to lapse.  

When setting up my vodafone a/c there was issues on their side and the vodafone engineer created a new dummy Spotify premium account for me and attached it to my vodafone account.  I was advised at the time that when my personal spotify account ended the dummy spotify account could be removed and my existing personal spotify account could be attached to my vodafone a/c.

 

However, when I contacted Vodafone to make this switch they now advised me to contact Spotify support to do this.

 

Can you help me cancell the dummy a/c and switch my personal a/c back to Spotify Premium with payment via Vodafone?

As far as I know, vodafone will need to do this for you not Spotify since they control the subscription, but you can get in touch with the Spotify customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to let you know what you need to do (if they can't do it themselves). 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

Hi there I also have lost my Spotify premium as a Vodafone customer, I have spoken with them today and they said a lot of their custoers have had the same issue and they are working on it to get it sorted. Customers will apparently get a text once it is back up and  running =(
