Issue with offline mode and no internet connection

ISpotify was stuck in offline mode and showing error - no internet connection, So following the help instructions first i rebooted my computer then i uninstalled and reinstalled. now i cant logon and i get the message no internet connection or firewall blocking. I have internet connection and I have checked in control panael fopr spotify to allow it through the firewall but it is not listed. I dont know what to do now

Just to add i have now added spotify to the list of programmes that are exeptions to firewall blaocking -0 just worked out how to do it and getting the same error message

Is it error 101 or a different error code?

Replying to myself - solved problem - it was norton 360 that had blocked spotify all solved!!
