I sent this question to Spotify support, but I'm posting it here too in case I can get more help...

 

I seem to be having a strange issue with logging into my premium account. About a week ago logged off of all my devices, and was able to log back on to my account just fine on both my phone and my desktop. Today however, I was logged out of both and I can't seem to log back in. When I type my username and password in and hit log on, the app seems to briefly go to the spotify home page, but then kicks me back to the log in screen and tells me my username or password is incorrect (error code 3). This is doubly weird, because if I use a different or incorrect password, I never get taken to the home screen. This happens on both my phone and on my desktop. Additionally, I can't seem to reset my password either; despite multiple attempts, I haven't received a single email to allow me reset my password (and yes, I checked my spam folder). The facebook account I'm using to post this (because, humorously, I can't post about a login issue unless I'm logged in) is not the account I used to create my premium account, so that isn't the issue either. Any suggestions?

You might have to delete the app (sorry) and download it again if that doesn't help, try pressing the "Sign Up Now" button and when you do all of your information it will tell you that email is already registered and then go back and try and log in again and if that doesn't help you will have to contact Spotify again.

Unfortunately redownloading the app didn't seem to change anything. Thanks for the suggestion though.

@dslcactus I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with this and that you already tried reinstalling the app, the next step I would suggest is that you contact Customer Support since they are able to manage your account, to do that please fill the following form:

If you receive an automated email directing you to the community and/or help boards, make sure you reply directly to that email (even if it says it is no-reply) and an agent will get back to you as soon as possible.

I already filled out a support request before I posted here, so I will reply to the automated response I recieved. If I may give a suggestion, it's not at all clear from the automated message that you need to reply to the email in order to speak directly to a customer support agent, you might want to make that more clear.
