Joined Spotify Premium on cell phone and want it also on my computer. Do I have to download again or should it log in automatically?

Hi, and welcome to the Spotify Community!
Once you have spotify premium on your account, you can log in wherever you want and it will always be premium. So it should automatically be premium, if not just log out then log in again.
Please note you can only have songs synced offline on a maximum of 3 devices and a maximum of 3,333 songs

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂
Just download the Spotify client software onto your computer from https://www.spotify.com/download/ and then log in using the same details as on your cell phone. Your account, subscription and playlists will be there waiting for you!

Now I want to know how to include my spotify playlists in my iPod.
Hi,
Your playlists should be the same on all your devices.
If you want to have them available when not online, simply enable offline mode at the top of the lists
If what you mean is have them display in iTunes, unfortunately you can't do that currently; because of limitations that Apple corp put on apps in the app store.
Anthony
What type of iPod are you using?

I wondered if that would be so. However I have just noticed that above my SP playlists is Library. Clicked on it and there was my whole iTunes library. But you are saying I can't put SP playlists on my iPod?
Hi,
Spotify is capable of syncing your offline iTunes files to it so it can be used as the default player for your music.
However, all iTunes does it play music files, so you would need to purchase each individual track from spotify and put it in iTunes. Is the iPod you are talking about an iPod touch or nano etc. ?

iPod touch. A few years old
Hi,
If that's the case, you can download the spotify app onto your device from the app store and login.
Anthony 🙂
Also, if you want to sync your local iTunes content to the iPod Touch (inside the Spotify application) then just follow the instructions in this help page.

I realise its one you turn the dial on not touch like my iPhone.
Hi,
So from the sounds of things its not an iPod touch then, am I correct?
If that's the case, I don't think you can have online spotify music on it without an app sorry. The only solution to that would be to buy the music off spotify if you want to.

There is no way to buy music from Spotify anymore, the downloads store has been removed so if you wish to download tracks as mp3's you will need to find an alternative source.
You can use the Spotify client to sync content which you already own to an iPod just like with iTunes. There is a help page about it here.
