Linking an existing Spotify account with alternative email.

I decided to quit Facebook and I found out I can't used my spotify unless I have a Facebook. I then decided to wait till my monthly subscription had ended and then quit my payment plan and delete Facebook page altogether. I still wanted a Premium Spotify account, so I decided to use my college email which is linked to my email that is used for my Facebook. I guess there's a bug because I logged into spotify using my alternative college email and was automatically signed into my old Spotify Facebook account. Worst of all, I was charged 2 days ago and still have Free Spotify. I just want a refund and cancel my subscription/bug. I'm lost.

Hey @eherrer6 ! Welcome to the community 🙂

You will need to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to check out your accounts and find out what has gone on here. In general, if you log into Spotify anytime using an email address (rather than a username) that will log you in via Facebook.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
