Local files not downloading

This is the fifth time I have contacted Spotify support for help downloading files. Each time, the employees have been ridiculously unhelpful, and some have just ended the chat without even bothering to find a resolution.  This is my final attempt before I am cancelling my subscription altogether. All I want to do is upload local files from my desktop to my account, but every time I choose "other" everything is in grey and I'm unable to click on anything. The files were downloading from the internet and converted into Quicktime and mp4 audio files.

Hey @mayadl! Welcome to the Spotify Community!

Sounds to me you are trying to add individual songs, could it be?

If so, you need to add the source of the songs, not the songs per se.

To do this my suggestion is to do the following:

1. Close Spotify.
2. Move your songs to a new folder named "SpotiMusic" or any type you like.
3. Open up Spotify,
   1. Head to Settings,
   2. Click on "Add Source",
   3. Look for the folder, click one time on it and then press on "Open".

Once you do this, you should see your Local Files updated with added music!
