I have problems to log in on my app- and I do not want to use my facebook account.. I got error 408? What should I do? I can log in on my computer.

Even I received an email that said I have received a private message in the Spotify Community. But when I check my messages , it says You have no private messages. i dont really understand whats going on 😞

If you are a premium subscriber, that error shouldn't come up. Just to be sure, since you seem unsure, can you check your account overview to see what it says under "Subscription Status" please?

@macarsultan - You should never see error 408 if you are logging into a premium account. Are you sure you are logging in with the correct details and your account is still showing as premium on your online overview?

@peter, yes i do have a premium account. I've checked it many times. But i still get the error 408. I dont know what to do with it anymore!
@macarsultan Could you just go to your account overview from the desktop client by clicking help/your account and copy and paste what it shows under Subscription Status, thanks.
@jwylot I just found something very funny about my subscription. When i open the spotify app on my laptop it say spotify premium but when i get into my account it shoes my free 1 day trial has ended so i have to upgrade. The funny thing starts here which is i just checked my bank statement and i found out Spotify has aldready charged me for one month of premium aldreay 🙂 This is something i dont understand at all!!!
Sounds like you have two accounts, are you sure you are logging in using the correct details?
Its amazingly easy to have two accounts, one with a Spotify username and another using your Facebook email.

The link above does not take me to a solution. In an another discussion a suggestion was made that changing the country to one that I am not in would work. Sounded like the lame guess it turned out to be. No help on the "Spotify won't open" discussion either. (I am noticing a trend here- a large number of discussions regarding #openSpotifyfails provide ample opportunity for people to communally scratch their heads.) Sorrily, no discussion- anywhere- regarding writing software carefully and circumspectly to ensure users are treated like customers rather than beta testers.
Hey, I found a solution! Hold the spotify button on your iphone down until it jiggles. Then touch the 'X' in the upper lefthand corner and a dialog box appears. Choose "delete." Now I have no more Spotify problems!

My question is can you use spotify all around the world?
My home country is in scandinavia but just now im in south america.
Spotify have been working over 2weeks well but no it don't. Earlier i try to upgrade it but I could not. The answer was that spotify is no avalible in this country.
