Log in using account name and password and NOT thru facebook

Log in using account name and password and NOT thru facebook

I have Spotify Premium and I want to log in to my account via an account name and password and not thru Facebook.

Ive cancelled my Premium subscription and reactivated it but I still connect via my facebook account.

I cant find any option under my Settings page on how to NOT to connect via my facebook account.

Help?

Thanks

Hey @Annafst,

Have you signed up to Spotify via Facebook?

I think I have - because when I click FORGOT USERNAME/PASSWORD in my
account log-in page and enter my email address I receive this message
Password Reset

It looks like you are using your Facebook credentials to log in to Spotify.
To change your Facebook password go to your settings page at facebook.com
.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to disconnect a Spotify account from a Facebook account if you signed up to Spotify via Facebook.

You could reach out to Spotify Support so they can move all your stuff from your current account to a new account:

Contact form: https://support.spotify.com/contact-spotify-support/?contact
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/SpotifyCares/
Twitter: https://twitter.com/spotifycares

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the Knowledgebase or the Spotify Community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address. Spotify Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.
