I'm currently traveling and the first couple of days Spotify worked fine. However, after a couple of days, I wasn't allowed to log into my account.

That is the expected behaviour of the system.

 

I'd recommend checking out this support article: https://support.spotify.com/account_payment_help/account_basics/how-can-i-change-my-country-setting/.
