Migrating Account

Hi, I have two Spotify accounts one of which is premium and has over a year of data on it. I want to change my username on that account, but understand my best bet is to make a new account and then request to transfer my data over from one account to the other. My question however is if this process is completed, will all of my behind-the-scenes data carry over as well? For example the data used to make my discovery playlist more accurate to me, my listening data that is used in This Year in Review or whatever it was called (normally at least, last year's one was honestly not very good...), and more.

Only someone from Spotify can give you a definitive answer, but my guess would be that it doesn't carry over to the new account. You can transfer your Premium privileges, library, playlists, and friends. to this new account, but I don't think listening data does. It's just like starting over, which in some cases may not be that bad.
