Mixed up accounts

Hello, Me and my brother both have a spotify premium account. We both use it on our separate phones and laptops. Recently we got ourself an ipad and we have been switching spotify accounts there. Today, when I log in on my laptop on spotify I find my favourites gone, playlists gone and my account directing me to my brother's profile. The same happened to him. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

This can happen if your browser was logged into another person's Facebook account when you connected your Spotify account to Facebook.

This should fix it:
1. Disconnect your Spotify account from Facebook.
You can do this in your Spotify Preferences (Spotify » Preferences in Mac and Edit » Preferences in Windows)
2. Exit Spotify.
3. Log in to your Facebook account in your web browser.
4. Run Spotify again and reconnect to Facebook.

I had my account mixed up and went throught the steps below and the problem is solved. Problem; when I ran Spotify and reconnected to facebook, my Spotify restarted as first time user ....now I don t have my starred list, which it had about 140 songs starred.  Can someone help me get my account back like it used to be.? 

 

 

1. Disconnect your Spotify account from Facebook.

2. Exit Spotify.
3. Log in to your Facebook account in your web browser.
4. Run Spotify again and reconnect to Facebook.

Hey 🙂 

 

If you where able to disconnect your Spotify account from Facebook, then you need to sign back into Spotify using your dedicated Spotify username and password not your Facebook details. Once you have done that your playlist should be there waiting for you.
