Multiple stream solution or workarounds

Multiple stream solution or workarounds

I would like to be able to use Spotify on my phone (streamed via Bluetooth to my car stereo), and on my Amazon Echo at home, simultaneously. This is because I don't live alone, and other family members sometimes want to listen to music at the house while I'm driving.

If I set up the same account on both, I simply can't do this.

If I use a different account on each, I can play music from both at the same time. But now either home or my car will have the wrong song history, no access to my playlists and daily mixes, and I can't control the music on my Echo via the Alexa app (because my phone is connected to a different account).

Do I just have to live with this? If Spotify can't do this, does anyone know of a better streaming service that does? It seems there aren't a lot of options with good Alexa integration though, unfortunately. Thanks.

Hey @largesock,

Unfortunately you would have to use different accounts to do this because with one account, you can only stream on one device at a time.

Hope this helps!
