My family plan invite link is broken

My family plan invite link is broken

The invite link generated for my family plan results in a 404. How can this be fixed?

Hey @awthorsen, thanks for reaching out.

 

If you've checked your country settings and if the country set on each account matches the one on the plan manager's account, we'd suggest that you ask the owner of the plan to send the invitation link again. However, this time, make sure that you are accepting it on a different device. 

 

Tip: I usually advise using an incognito window when accepting the invite as it doesn't keep that info saved.

Actually the link itself is broken.  It contains no unique id identifying my account.

This is the invite that is generated:

 

https://www.spotify.com/us/family/join/invite/

Please follow the steps bellow.

 

Being logged in the plan manager's account:

 

  1. Go to your account page.
  2. Under Subscription, select Manage members.
  3. Select the option to add members.

Log in to invite members

 

Invited members get a link to join, where they need to:

  • Log in to (or sign up for) their own account
  • Confirm their full address

Note: Members can only switch Family plans once a year.

The problem was that I had never set an address
