For anyone else who has the same problem: I had an old bank card assigned as my payment method, removed it and tried again and it worked fine 🙂

- Do you currently have an active subscription? If so unlimited/premium?
- Have you used NUS discount before or is this the first time?
- Is your Spotify account based in the UK (as shown on your online profile)?

I am trying to register my new NUS card, when I enter the long digits and submit, the system says it is INVALID - this in incorrect. I have tried, login out and login back in on a a different browser and used a direct link to the NUS registering page.
I have an ACTIVE premium subscription (non-discount account).
It is based in the UK.
Really looking forward to a reply 🙂
Just to confirm @Onthendz , it is an NUS Extra card, not just a membership or apprenticeship card?

I have just replied to your support message. Could you please try going to www.spotify.com/uk/nus to start the NUS deal?
The problem was that your active subscription was blocking the discount - this needs to be cancelled before the system will accept the NUS details.
