New Album notifications (or should I say lack of)

I follow hundreds of artists but am not getting new album notifications for any. In the last week, two artists I follow had new albums come out, neither of which I was notified of. To add insult to injury, I was actually notified of a new album the other day, only to discover it was an old album that was released in 2009!

I can provide details of the specific artists/albums if that helps at all.

Spotify are aware of a problem with notifications and working on a fix.

I never get emails or notifications about new album releases. I have those notifications turned on.
