New device not recognising premium account

New device not recognising premium account

Hi, i recently removed spotify from a device and installed it on a new one (HTC One phone). unfortunately the app on the new device wont recognise my premium account. Please help - its very frustrating! Thanks

Ive tried, loging out and back in using my email address and user name.

Is your account showing as premium on your online overview

Hi Peter, yes it is 😕

Strange, can you try removing the Spotify application, doing a power cycle on your phone (I'd suggest a battery pull if possible), then installing the Spotify app again from Google Play? 

 

Also, make sure you are logging in using the correct details on your phone, its amazingly easy to have two seperate accounts - one with a Spotify username and password and another using Facebook.
