No Facebook No Friends

Hi everyone,

I'm real but I don't have Facebook or Birds and I don't want to have it. I'm real and I have spotify, (I pay for it, Pemium Version), and other real friends using it, with which I'd like to share some artists, playlists, ideas ecc ecc, but NO!, I don't have facebook, I don't have friend, not on Spotify.

In 2013 is it really getting that hard to be in touch without FB ot TW on another social software/netwrok based on something good like music? Please don't tell me YES!, I want to hear another NO! the right one.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

I'm a little confused! Are you looking to share with your friends on Spotify without connecting to Facebook? 

If so, that is perfectly possible, you just need to find their profiles and follow them first! Ask for your friends for their Spotify usernames, they are shown when you log into your online overview. It will either be a username they have chosen or a string of digits if their account was created using Facebook. 

Once you have got those, in the main desktop search box, type:

spotify:user:USERNAME

with USERNAME set as their Spotify username. That will then load their Spotify profile, which you can Follow. Once following, you can share as much as you like from the Right Click > Share > Send to friend menu.

Thanks that's exactly what I meant! Why do they make it like that? I know it's easy, it's just letteres, but less then a button that say FB, TW or TMBLR or share with a friend friend a real one...anyway you made half of my day...

Dr. John will make the other half, and the fact that now I can share "Locked Down" with my mates...easy breezy...

It says my friend is following me on there profile but on my profile I have zero followers. I do not have Facebook and my friend does. Also when I try to share a track sent to... I try to type in my friends name and nothing comes up. Can you help me

They started following me today. I can see they r following me on people there following list but I have 0 followers I am new to this and setting it up today. I am doing it from my iPad and I don't have facebook.
