I logged onto Spotify and accidentally clicked on a box that asked if I was on a new account. Now all of my playlists are gone. I think Spotify created a new account for me because I can still look up my old account with all of my playlists. The problem is that now I have two accounts under the same email and both are connected to my facebook (I think). I'm trying to log in to my original account but I keep logging in to the new one. So apparently both accounts also have the same password. How do I fix this?

Hey @user-removed ! Welcome to the community 🙂

If you could get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form they will be able to get your old account restored for you. You are correct, by clicking that button the system has made a new account for you using the same login details, so your old account will be temporarily lost in the system.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
