Password Reset Isn't Working?

Hi:  I logged back in via FB for the first time in a long, long time and downloaded the app.

I tried logging in through the app, using the username it gave me, but couldn't remember the password.

I then tried using the email address I use to log into FB, along with my FB.  No dice.

I followed the Forgot Your Password? link on the app login screen and followed the directions.  It told me it had sent me an email to my regular gmail address (it gave me the address it sent the email to, and that is my regular email.)  No email received.  Not in my inbox, not in spam.  Nothing showed up when I searched all my folders.  Went through the process again.  Still no email.  And again. And again.

How long should I be waiting for an email to allow me to reset my password?  Is there some other way to do it?  I tried following the directions in the FAQ but they seem to apply to a different version of the profile screen than the one that comes up when I look at my profile.

I really, really want to give you guys my money but I can't figure out how.  Please help me.  Thanks.

Sorry to hear you are having issues getting that password reset, if you could get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form athey will be able to lend a hand via email to get that reset manually for you. 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
