Playlists and strange music

Playlists and strange music

Recently strange music kept playing without me telling it to on my phone and my playlists just disappeared as I was listening on my iPhone app - I logged out - forgot and changed my password - what other precautions should I take and can I get my playlists back?

Hey @Angela66712! Welcome to the Spotify Community. ^^

You can recover deleted playlists through this site.

Have you tried reinstalling your app? If not here's a step by step tutorial

And i suggest to 'Log Out Everywhere'  in your account overviewScreenshot_4 (3).png

Let us know if that helps, thanks! ^^

Peace

Hey @Angela66712,

It sounds like someone may be accesing your account. Please go to https://www.spotify.com/account/overview/ and press the "Sign out everywhere" button. You may change your password again, just to make sure that your account is secure.

You can recover your playlists at https://www.spotify.com/account/recover-playlists/ :).

I'm having a similar problem when playing music on shuffle from my playlists.  Occasionally it will just stop playing my song & switch to some random song that I've never heard of & isn't anywhere on my song list.  My playlists don't disappear, but I have to stop the music and re-open my playlist to start again.  I've tried logging out everywhere like suggested but it's still happening.  Any ideas?
