Premium Account Disappeared

I just opened and paid for a Premium account (with a student discount). I got a receipt for the payment, saying that the email address for the premium account 1234@gmail.com (this isn't my real email address, just an example) and listing my username/ID as a long string of numbers. 

When I tried to log into Spotify with the username I thought I had created, it said that that name was linked to a free account. Furthermore, the email address associated with that account was 5678@gmail.com and not 1234@gmail.com. So I tried the forgot my password button to see if I could retrieve the account infomation that was linked to the account I am now paying for. However, Spotify didn't allow me to send an email to 1234@gmail.com because they said that email wasn't linked to an account. I also tried my student email address but that didn't work either. The only address they would let me send a recovery email to was 5678@gmail.com. I reset the password for the account linked to 5678@gmail.com, but when it logged me in, I was back at the free account. 

Where did my Premium account go????

Hi. You signed up with your facebook credentials. Log out and back in using your facebook credentials and not a username and everything should be there.
