I'd love to use Spotify on my cellphone, but I'm lacking a Credit/Debit card, so I was wondering if a friend of mine could buy me an gift e-card. Here is my question: Let's suppose my friend buy me the e-card, do I need to add a credit/debit card/paypal account to redeem it (like with the 30 day trial) or with just the code is enough?

Hi ezearis93 - Welcome to the Spotify Community. Not to worry, you can redeem that giftcard without updating any payment details. 

When that code expires your account will simply revert back to a free subscription. If you want to keep the Premium going without interruption just redeem another e-card before the current one expires. Enjoy your Premium.
