You might have subscribed to premium through the iPhone or iPad app.
It costs more subscribing via iTunes than the Spotify website because Apple charges a fee.
You can cancel your current subscription, and then resubscribe from the Spotify website.
To cancel your subscription, you need to cancel it from iTunes. Your subscription is being handled by Apple.

Hello, I completely understand your problem and I'm happy to assist you. First of all, the "$0.99 for three months" promotion was for NEW users on December, if you purchased premium as a new user on december you got 3 months for 99cents. Now you say you're paying $12.99 each month, this is possibly because you're paying via iTunes right? If I'm correct then I should let you know that the reason it's $2.99 more than the original $9.99 price is because iTunes takes 30% of every app "in-app purchase". What I would recommend is that if you want to pay $9.99 you go into spotify.com and in your account settings go to payment setting and choose a payment method, you'll now be charged $9.99 each month, isn't that great and simple?
